On the Horizon: Games for Change
The 9th Annual Games for Change Festival is set to take place June 18-20th, at the NYU Skirball Center. G4C is sponsored by the Games for Learning Institute. The event schedule is packed with talks, demos, and presentations– a great opportunity for thought leaders to network and students to explore.
Of particular interest, keynote addresses by Jane McGonigal and James Gee promise to inspire. We’re thrilled to see that fellow Rochesterian Jon-Paul Dyson, Director of ICHEG (International Center for the History of Electronic Games) at The Strong National Museum of Play is a presenter, too.
Members of the Second Avenue Learning team will be at the festival to demo and discuss our collaborative physical science game, Martha Madison’s Marvelous Machines. Further details forthcoming!
If you are interested in attending, you have until June 12th to register.
Will you be at #G4C12?
